About The Position

In this role, you will guide a hybrid team of data analysts, data engineers, BI developers, and analytics engineers in shaping and enhancing the data systems that power the U.S. Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance market. You will serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for Commercial Property data, ensuring the timely delivery, accuracy, and relevance of key data assets and quarterly reporting relied upon by internal stakeholders and external customers. Through leadership, insight, and strong collaboration across global teams, you will drive innovation, strengthen ADS’ data platform, and contribute to strategic initiatives that advance Verisk’s position in the Commercial Property market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or a closely related discipline with strong STEM coursework (e.g., Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics).
• 5+ years of work experience in the Property & Casualty insurance market, with familiarity across key Commercial Property lines.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data synthesis.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to partner effectively with data engineers, analysts, and BI developers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading customer meetings, presenting to leadership, and representing ADS in collaborative forums.
• Ability to influence internal and external partners across diverse roles and regions.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a demanding environment with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & People Development Lead, mentor, and support direct reports to foster professional growth, team engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement. Inspire the team to innovate, explore latest ideas, and deliver impactful results that advance organizational objectives. Develop team expertise in the Commercial Property insurance market and guide knowledge-sharing across functions.
• Operational Oversight & Delivery Excellence Ensure timely and accurate delivery of quarterly reports and Commercial Property data assets for internal and external use. Oversee the development and enhancement of ADS’ core data platforms to support Commercial Property initiatives. Develop, maintain, and analyze functional strategy roadmaps to align with department and enterprise priorities.
• Commercial Property Subject Matter Expertise Serve as the organization’s SME for Commercial Property data, providing insights and direction to support analytics, product design, and market strategy. Offer strategic perspectives, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions that advance the company’s goals in the Commercial Property domain. Guide understanding and proper use of key lines of business, including Commercial Fire & Allied Lines, Businessowners, Farm, Inland Marine, and Crime.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Collaborate closely with international managers and partners to align delivery plans, share knowledge, and drive unified goals. Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring high-quality communication and service delivery. Promote seamless coordination among project contributors to execute strategy effectively and achieve superior results.
• Strategic Influence Use findings, trends, and insights to shape strategic recommendations for leadership and influence broader organizational decision-making.
