About The Position
The purpose of this classification is to appraise commercial real property to determine appropriate values for tax assessment purposes. This position involves interpreting and applying state and local laws pertaining to property appraisal and assessment, conducting field reviews of large scale commercial real property, and performing complex analysis of market conditions for rental rates and property values. The role requires a high level of skill in conducting appraisals of complex properties and defending appraised values during appeals.
