Performs necessary maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the Property's portfolio. This requires the utilization of skills normally associated with carpentry, plumbing, welding, electrical, masonry and related property and facility maintenance trades, in order to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of assets. The nature of the work requires that many duties be performed independently, requiring the Maintenance Technician to be responsible for applying discretion in both determining proper work methods and in analyzing preventative maintenance needs. Likewise, the ideal Maintenance Technician is also a team player who offers support to fellow team members when necessary. The Maintenance Technician continually strives to increase his/her working knowledge of the properties and the skills required to perform various tasks. Aside from technical skills, the ideal Maintenance Technician possesses the interpersonal skills necessary to conduct business in a manner that attracts and retains tenants.
