Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field of study, preferred
  • 1 year experience in the HVAC industry, preferred
  • 2 years customer service experience
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to maximize communication and expectations and gather project timelines
  • Manage all aspects of shipping for a job: Coordinate ship dates Communicate to all applicable parties of ship dates Proactively alleviate any shipping issues by monitoring factory ship dates and ensuring they align with expected project timelines Manage special shipping instructions by coordinating shipping changes
  • Collaborate with Account Executive to resolve any issues that arise during project. Carry out any tasks needed to eliminate issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all projects
  • Manage all aspects of a start up for a job: Coordinate startup with Contractor Schedule startup and send in paperwork
  • Gather project information and send IOMs to Contractor
  • Assist customers with warranty issues, returns and re-consignments
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
