About The Position

The Research Triangle Park (RTP) facility is home to Catalent's Inhalation franchise including product development, clinical and commercial manufacturing for pMDI, DPI and Nasal Sprays. Catalent Pharma Solutions is Morrisville, NC is hiring a Commercial Project Manager. The Commercial Project Manager acts as the primary site contact and liaison to manage a set of assigned customer accounts related to supply of commercialized products and services. Primary responsibilities include demand planning, managing the execution of the order to cash flow process and alignment of customer needs, agreed upon terms between Catalent and customer and Catalent capabilities. Responsible for providing excellent customer satisfaction by ensuring on time delivery through the coordination and execution of customer orders across functions with guidance from Senior and Lead Account Managers. The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships and creating a consistent experience while promoting the Catalent brand

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or higher is preferred.
  • 7 to 10 years relevant experience required
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in account management is required; with preference given for experience in client facing role and pharmaceutical/healthcare background.
  • Understanding of supply chain and related supply chain services is preferred.
  • General knowledge and understanding of customer contracts (Supply Agreement/Quality
  • Knowledge and experience in GMP environment is preferred.
  • Past experience using ERP systems is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary customer/site manager for commercial client accounts
  • Will be considered the site point of contact for assigned customer accounts and takes ownership for overall facilitation of product supply
  • Will be responsible for commercial supply agreement compliance and KPI tracking
  • Work closely with Specialty Commercial Operations for commercial contract management and quotations Agreement) including but not limited to firm-zones; purchase order requirements; delivery requirements; limits of liability.
  • Ensures customer forecasts are received on the contractually agreed upon periods, analyzes review for forecast fidelity, challenges customers if orders are not aligned with agreements (such as short lead time or significantly above/below forecast), and follows escalation process for forecast changes that cannot be resolved one on one with the key customer contact.
  • Supports site demand planning and S&OP process for all assigned accounts.
  • Assists Finance team with analysis, including input to site revenue firmness, invoicing, collection issues, tiered pricing tracking, credit issuance, and other activities as needed.
  • Supports compliance and business review activities for each assigned client
  • Ensure customer is billed appropriately for all products and services provided
