About The Position

The Commercial Project Manager / Financial Controller at Siemens is responsible for overseeing all commercial and financial aspects of projects within the Electrification and Automation Business Unit. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, managing project finances, and collaborating closely with Project Managers to achieve project success. The position is based in Wendell, NC, with remote work options available for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a related field with demonstrated key responsibilities.
• Experience with SAP and financial management.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Siemens CPM Certification or PMP Certification.
• Experience managing small or 'C' projects.
• Broad knowledge of business practices and issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project throughout the project life cycle.
• Support the Project Manager in optimizing financial results, including project gross profit and cash flow.
• Analyze customer requirements and assess their commercial and contractual feasibility.
• Review and evaluate contract conditions and ensure legal examination.
• Ensure accuracy of cost and pricing calculations and maintain project records in systems like SAP.
• Prepare commercial documentation for project status meetings and ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines and local GAAP requirements.
• Manage financial guarantees, bonds, and project securities.
• Identify and minimize non-conformance costs and implement lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations for commercial project members.
