The Commercial Product Manager – Gene Editing is responsible for leading product commercialization and sustaining our expansive portfolio of CRISPR and Functional Genomics. You will work with functions across the organization to maintain our market-leading position. This position reports to the Sr. Commercial Product Manager – Genomic Medicine & CRISPR and is part of the Gene Writing and Editing Business Unit. This role is preferred to be on-site at one of IDT’s US locations (Coralville, IA or Boulder, CO).

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent in business, life sciences, or marketing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management or Commercial Marketing, 5 years of experience preferred. May accept less experience with MBA/MSc/PhD degree or internal Danaher experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within Life Sciences, Diagnostics, or related scientific industry.
  • Demonstrated success in product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal project management (PMP or similar not required).
  • Influencing all levels of an organization including Senior and Functional Leaders to lead change without direct supervisory leverage.
  • Working cross-functionally with a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans and pricing strategies to achieve annual revenue and margin growth objectives.
  • Partner across multiple functions including Marketing, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Quality, and others to launch and manage CRISPR and Functional Genomics products.
  • Partner with Sales to develop sales enablement training for new and on-market products and support key accounts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for CRISPR and Functional Genomics products and their target markets/customers with regular analysis of trends and competitors.
  • Build and leverage market/customer & competitive insights to establish multi-year product forecasts.
