About The Position

Manage and maximize return on a portfolio of CSBB Small Business Criticized and Classified loans in accordance with Bank policy, procedures, and strategic goals. The position will be filled in either of the posted locations only. Will be 4 days onsite/1 day remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or banking or comparable education and related training.
  • A minimum of 7 years commercial banking, loan workout or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, interpersonal, financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, or banking.
  • 10 years of experience in commercial banking, loan workout, and/or relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of CSBB Small Business problem loans including those with complex credit structures in CSBB.
  • Negotiate effective resolution plans with borrowers in accordance with an appropriate case strategy.
  • Independently complete underwriting of borrowers/guarantors for renewal/modification.
  • Prepare accurate and thorough credit request packages for co-approval or exercise individual loan authority.
  • Manage relationships with Small Business Banking Service Delivery and/or external counsel.
  • Work effectively with partners such as SBDS Support Specialist and Commercial Fulfillment Specialist.
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly forecasting for non-performing assets and charge-offs.
  • Complete reporting as required for impairment analysis, accrual justification, CCAR, and Criticized Loan Asset Reports.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively in a consultative or shadowing role with teammates from other Business Lending Units.
  • Keep abreast of changing Bank policy and procedures, as well as business and economic developments.
