Meet the team: The role as a Commercial Pricing Analyst will be responsible for defining market value, profit optimization, driving revenue and establishing pricing guardrails supporting our key business partners. You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams of Market Access, Trade, Contracting and Finance. Optimizing pricing strategies in an ever-evolving market and balancing financial tradeoffs is a key objective of this job. Candidates for consideration must have an independent drive, strong teamwork capabilities, interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate activities with multiple departments within the Dexcom organization.

Requirements

  • You have an innate ability to learn and delayer complex problems
  • You are a self-starter and motivated by a rapid pace of evolving challenges
  • You have a history of strong financial acumen, including forecasting and pricing
  • You have demonstrated the ability to work and integrate strategies across functional areas
  • You have successfully been able to foster a vision and gain alignment from internal stakeholders
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • You have prior experience in the diabetes market, with expertise in the CGM
  • You have knowledge of North America healthcare economics and market landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Pricing Owner: lead business partner for assigned channel.
  • Financial Modeling: scenarios for impacts of risk/opportunities, cost/benefit analysis
  • Market Analysis: monitor environmental trends with competitive landscape across customer segments
  • Profit optimization strategies: including identifying price getting opportunities in US markets
  • Pricing governance: support in business case proposals to Executive Pricing Committee
  • Deal development: workshop and advise on deal structure and improved outcomes
  • Lead on initiatives across Dexcom to drive efficiencies in process, tools and systems
  • Collaborate with Payer Account Management Teams to provide input into contract development and performance
