About The Position

Are you an experienced plumber who enjoys leading crews and managing complex commercial plumbing projects? S&S Mechanical in St. George, UT is actively seeking a full-time Commercial Plumbing Foreman to oversee plumbing installations on commercial construction projects. If you take pride in quality workmanship, leading teams, and keeping projects on schedule, we want to hear from you! Our Commercial Plumbing Foremen typically work Monday – Friday, depending on project needs, with occasional overtime as required to meet construction deadlines. Requirements

  • Several years of commercial plumbing experience
  • Strong leadership and crew management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
  • Knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and codes
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Ability to work in construction environments, trenches, mechanical rooms, and elevated areas
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work on active jobsites

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman plumbing license
  • Previous foreman or supervisory experience on commercial projects
  • Experience managing large-scale or multi-phase construction projects

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead plumbing crews on commercial construction projects
  • Coordinate plumbing installations according to blueprints, engineered plans, and project specifications
  • Communicate with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and inspectors
  • Ensure all plumbing systems are installed according to local codes, safety standards, and company expectations
  • Plan daily jobsite activities and assign tasks to crew members
  • Coordinate with other trades to maintain efficient project progress
  • Train and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers
  • Track and manage materials, equipment, and jobsite resources
  • Identify and resolve jobsite challenges while maintaining project schedules
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
