About The Position

S&S Mechanical in St. George, UT is actively seeking a full-time Commercial Plumbing Apprentice to assist our experienced plumbers and foremen on commercial construction projects. If you are motivated to learn, enjoy working with your hands, and want to build a long-term career in the trades, we want to hear from you! Our Commercial Plumbing Apprentices typically work Monday – Friday, depending on project needs, with occasional overtime based on construction schedules. Requirements

Interest in learning the plumbing trade
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong work ethic and reliability
Willingness to work in construction environments
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Nice To Haves

Some construction or plumbing experience
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a plumbing apprenticeship program

Responsibilities

Assist plumbers and foremen with commercial plumbing installations
Learn to install plumbing systems according to blueprints and construction plans
Carry and organize materials, tools, and equipment on job sites
Assist with cutting, measuring, assembling, and installing piping systems
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
Support the plumbing team to keep projects on schedule
Continuously learn plumbing techniques and best practices
