About The Position

Master Plumber / Journeyman Plumber Commercial & Multifamily Construction Metro Detroit, MI Parker-Arntz Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is a Michigan-based commercial plumbing contractor specializing in large-scale commercial and multifamily new construction and renovation projects across Michigan and Ohio. We are actively growing and are looking for experienced commercial plumbers who take pride in quality work and want long-term stability with a respected contractor. This role is ideal for plumbers who want consistent commercial work, strong project organization, and a company that values experienced tradespeople. What You’ll Be Working On Large-scale commercial and multifamily new construction and renovation projects Mid-rise and high-rise apartment buildings, mixed-use developments, and commercial facilities Well-planned projects with experienced project management support Commercial-only work (residential-only experience will not be considered) What This Role Looks Like Day to Day Install, layout, and pressure test plumbing systems for commercial and multifamily projects Work with PVC, copper, carbon steel, cast iron, grooved pipe, gas lines, and underground K-copper Install fixtures, pipe insulation, and perform brazing in accordance with code Read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades to keep projects moving Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Troubleshoot and resolve jobsite issues efficiently when they arise What We’re Looking For Required 5+ years of commercial or multifamily plumbing experience Strong understanding of commercial plumbing codes and pressure testing methods Experience with underground, sanitary, domestic water, and fixture installations Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Preferred Michigan Journeyman or Master Plumber license Experience on large-scale or multi-story commercial projects Strong communication and teamwork skills Schedule & Work Expectations Full-time, consistent commercial construction work Overtime available based on project needs On-call work is limited and project-dependent (not a daily service role) Local projects primarily in the Metro Detroit area What We Provide Company vehicle and tools Steady, year-round commercial work Organized job sites and experienced project management A team environment where experienced plumbers are trusted to do their work Clear expectations and respect for your trade experience Pay & Benefits The anticipated hourly range for this position is $28.00 - $55.00. Compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications. Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial or multifamily plumbing experience
