About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Plumber Helper to support our commercial pluming team on active job sites. This entry- to mid-level role assists lead plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing systems while learning proper techniques and safety standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, eager to learn, and able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn plumbing techniques, tools, and safety practices.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.

Nice To Haves

• Previous construction or plumbing helper experience.
• Familiarity with commercial job sites.
• Exposure to reading blueprints or plumbing drawings.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial plumbers with the installation, assembly and repair of pipes, fittings, fixtures, and plumbing equipment.
• Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment needed for daily tasks.
• Measure, cut, thread, and support piping under the direction of a lead plumber.
• Help test plumbing systems to identify leaks and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
• Follow all North Carolina plumbing codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
• Safely use hand tools and basic power tools; assist with equipment such as jackhammers, skid-steers, and trenchers as trained.
