About The Position

The Commercial Parts Pro position is a professional-level sales role that plays a crucial part in supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. This position is primarily responsible for the profitable growth of the commercial business through customer retention and growth strategies. The Commercial Parts Pro will work closely with the General Manager (GM) to manage team members effectively, ensuring that the team meets its sales goals and service objectives. The role requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, as well as the ability to source products from various channels, including special orders and second sources. Additionally, the position involves directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, which is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. In this role, the Commercial Parts Pro will maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, providing them with a GAS2 selling experience that enhances their overall satisfaction. The position also entails achieving personal and store sales goals while providing day-to-day supervisory support for team members. Collaboration with the GM is vital for identifying coaching and developmental needs for team members, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively. The Commercial Parts Pro will also be responsible for dispatching drivers to meet delivery standards and maintaining commercial stocking programs to ensure that inventory levels meet customer demand. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining core bank and commercial returns, as well as managing commercial credit accounts. The Commercial Parts Pro will partner with the GM to ensure proper driver coverage, which is critical for operational success. Success in this position is characterized by friendly communication, the ability to locate and stock parts efficiently, and a strong understanding of safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess advanced selling skills tailored for commercial customers and the ability to multitask while remaining organized in a fast-paced environment.
