Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial operations, bids, or tender management
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across global teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and collaboration platforms
  • Solid understanding of commercial risk and pricing strategies
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to define business strategies for customer proposals
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional bid teams to create compelling, customer-focused proposals
  • Coordinate inputs from legal, finance, product, and support to build cohesive bids
  • Review commercial terms and manage risk throughout the bid lifecycle
  • Develop pricing models that align with margin goals and governance standards
  • Ensure proposals reflect our brand, value-adds, and win themes
  • Present proposals to senior leadership and support internal approvals
  • Support internal governance and administrative processes
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
