About The Position

PSE Group is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver with a minimum Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement to transport paint and paint-related products from our central warehouse to various company stores within the state of Georgia. This role is critical to maintaining timely, efficient, and compliant delivery operations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
  • Valid DOT medical card.
  • Minimum age of 21 years (per DOT requirements).
  • Must be licensed in the state of Georgia.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 Years prior experience delivering hazardous materials.
  • Forklift certification or pallet jack experience.
  • Knowledge of the Atlanta metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class B CMV in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Transport paint and paint-related materials (some classified as hazardous) to retail store locations.
  • Follow established routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
  • Secure loads and ensure safe handling of materials during loading and unloading.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and trip records as required by DOT and company policies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials manually or using material handling equipment.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to store personnel and customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling and documentation of hazardous materials.
