About The Position

As a Commercial Middle Market Division Director, you will be directly accountable for the performance and goal attainment of a designated group of Commercial Middle Market Banking Centers. The incumbent is the primary sales and business development driver for the division. Responsible for sales, customer service and quality at all levels. Able to originate and manage the most complex credits in the division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or other related field required.
  • 10 or more years of commercial middle market/corporate bank experience in commercial credit and business development required.
  • 8 or more years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process, or commercial team.

  • Demonstrated training and performance coaching skills.
  • Possess effective presentation, communication, and negotiation skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to commercial lending.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and execute the sales, marketing, and business development plan for the division.
  • Develop and manage the income and expense budget for the division.
  • Develop and lead teams to build profitable relationships with key middle market clients.
  • Ensure division staff meets goals for commercial loan growth, deposit growth, and quality.
  • Monitor all credits through periodic reviews and analysis. Maintain appropriate levels of credit quality.
  • Create awareness of the bank and its services through community activity.
  • Resolve customer issues with satisfactory results.
  • Ensure staff members are trained in sales, service, operations, and lending skills.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and the proactive cross-selling of Bank products and services based on customer needs.
  • Comply with, and ensure staff follows, policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
