Responsible for unloading and loading raw material from trucks and/or Commercial assembly lines to keep flow of product smooth and efficient Move raw material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap. Operate forklifts. Store, space, and deliver materials or products. Stack pallets and arrange materials. May be required to palletize and secure material as needed. Receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist). Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities. May use the spotter truck to move flatbed and dry van trailers as needed or required. Additional duties as assigned. Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Valid state issued driver's license required. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered. Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Strong product knowledge. Forklift experience both stand up and sit down. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to follow directions, work independently, and pay close attention to detail. Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate¬. Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.
