About The Position

In order to facilitate this business level initiative, we're rapidly expanding our capabilities within the offshore wind and power offtakes sector and establishing an offshore wind Centre of Excellence. Green Hydrogen is becoming an integral component of our offer to our customers, due to the difficulties for firm grid access or power curtailments in some regions. Worley's broader ambitions in the offshore renewable space extend from early-stage concept and feasibility through to delivering full EPC and EPCI packages. Summary: Lead commercial delivery in respect of DREW ( Downstream Resources, Environment and Water). Support , processes and systems to deliver continuous development success of the business through robust, measured and engaging tools. Governance and delivery of the Worley way. Driving efficiency and productivity in executing commercial solutions, support pre award and develop growth margin opportunities . This is a key leadership role in driving commercial value and intelligence across the sector and to be a leader within the regional commercial peer group. Support Commercial Director in strategy and regional initiatives and develop into DOA and succession planning. Requirements

  • Commercial awareness and proven success with benchmarking and data analytic skills, showing how data has made better decision
  • Understanding of global energy solution entity, EMS systems specifically the Worley Way, or equivalent.
  • Experience of successfully engaging with project mgt. engineering, capture mgmt., regional leads and executive mgmt.
  • Degree level Business / Commercial with minimum 5 years' experience. Previous remit in commercial role desirable.
  • Commercial acumen and experience in commercial contracting models/risk profiles and project scopes/phases (FEL/EPC/EPCM & Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable, etc)
  • Ability to mitigate risks effectively through commercial analysis and positive decision making. Show modern management techniques in practice for example OODA

Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are set up commercially for success and own prime contract commercials.
  • Manage the delivery of project commercial value and margin from as sold to as delivered with minimal leakage.
  • Work with business managers, when applicable to ensure commercial strategy delivered for larger projects.
  • Working with the commercial group to share knowledge, support pricing and sub-contracting on projects.
  • Support and development of high potential commercial talent within the region, cross supporting pricing & estimating plus subcontracts to develop broad opportunities
  • Support delivery of commercial initiatives within CFR, leading delivery as required.
  • Lead roll-out of Worley Way in post award for commercial within CFR business line.
