About The Position

Our client in the Riviera Beach, FL area is seeking to hire a Commercial Maintenance Technician to support all maintenance activities in their faclity. Key Responsibilities Preventative & General Maintenance: Inspecting buildings and equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to identify issues and performing regular, routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns. Repairs: Fixing plumbing, electrical, and structural damage, such as repairing doors, locks, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Facility Operations: Monitoring and controlling building systems (e.g., heating, cooling, lighting) to maintain optimal, safe, and efficient conditions. Service Requests: Promptly addressing tenant or building manager requests, ensuring repairs are completed effectively and on time. Documentation & Safety: Maintaining detailed logs of repairs and maintenance, managing, and adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Contractor Coordination: Assisting with or overseeing repairs performed by outside contractors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a commercial, industrial, or facility setting
  • Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair skills (carpentry, drywall)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues
  • Ability to work on ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in various conditions
  • Basic computer skills for work orders and strong communication skills for interacting with tenants and management
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, certifications (e.g., HVAC, EPA), or apprenticeships are preferred
  • Availability for on-call emergencies, weekends, or holidays
