Commercial Maintenance Technician
About The Position
We are actively seeking a full-time maintenance tech position to grow our commercial department! Candidates must be able to drive to multiple locations throughout the day and accommodate seasonal transitions. We are looking for a candidate that is positive, independent, and has clear communication skills. This position consists of but is not limited to, the proven ability to meet our groundskeeper job requirements, assisting other maintenance staff with grounds, displaying customer service skills, breezeway housekeeping duties, common area maintenance, snow and ice removal, service requests, and completing the make-ready process. Candidates should display the ability to use their time wisely and efficiently. In addition to the above duties, other responsibilities can include: - Perform routine inspections of parking lots, grounds, buildings, lights, etc. & report issues to upper management as needed. - Assisting HVAC and Maintenance projects - Paint, minor drywall patches, caulking - Replace door knobs, deadbolts - Electrical - Install light fixtures, and ceiling fans, remove and replace outlets and switches - Replace emergency lights and bulbs - Plumbing - Plunge a waste line - Remove a toilet for vinyl install - Prep floors for vendors - Remove carpet, pad, and staples - Scrape vinyl, remove underlayment as needed The pay scale is subject to changes due to unforeseen circumstances and is to be set by Senior Management. The position may be adjusted from hourly to salary. All Job Requirements are subject to changes and are not limited to the descriptions above.
