About The Position

The Commercial Maintenance Technician role at Advantage xPO involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on building mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. This position is ideal for individuals with a mechanical inclination and at least three years of commercial experience in trades such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. The technician will manage work orders, maintain client relationships, and participate in safety training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.), or Specialty Floor Care (preferred).
• 3+ years of commercial experience including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems.
• Possess applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, writing, communication, mechanical, troubleshooting, time management, and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as per work orders.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and regulations.
• Conduct minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry maintenance tasks.
• Complete service and asset inspections using technology for work orders and service reports.
• Manage materials and maintain positive client relationships.
• Provide project estimates and attend safety training and meetings.
