About The Position

Nelbud is hiring a Maintenance Technician to service commercial kitchen ventilation systems. This role is similar to HVAC, but focuses on airflow, exhaust, and system performance—not heating or cooling. If you have experience in HVAC, commercial refrigeration, or a related field, this could be a great fit. For over 40 years, Nelbud has been a leader in life safety and kitchen ventilation services. Requirements

• Basic mechanical or maintenance experience
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs
• Comfortable working evenings, nights, and in varying conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided)
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and overnights
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces

Nice To Haves

• Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or similar field preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on commercial kitchen ventilation systems
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and airflow issues
• Replace filters and clean ventilation components
• Complete service reports and maintain job documentation
• Deliver strong customer service while representing Nelbud
