About The Position
We are seeking Commercial Low Voltage Installation Technicians to join an active project in Nashville, Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians with hands‑on commercial low voltage experience who are looking for steady work on a professional project site. If you have experience installing and terminating low voltage systems and take pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage electrical systems in commercial environments. Systems may include security, audio/visual, telecommunications, and other low voltage infrastructure. Technicians should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team on structured commercial projects.
Requirements
- 1+ year of commercial low voltage experience
- Proven experience running and terminating Cat5/Cat6 cable
- Experience punching down to blocks and/or patch panels
- Must be local to or able to work in Nashville, TN
- Minimum 1 year of commercial low voltage or electrical experience
- Working knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems in commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Install and assist with programming of security, audio/visual, and telecommunications systems
- Troubleshoot wiring, connectivity, and system issues
- Ensure work complies with local and national electrical codes
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Provide professional and courteous customer service onsite
