Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited university is required.
  • 5 years related experience in commercial lending and sales required.
  • 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, using proper grammar and spelling while conveying thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good understanding of secondary market guidelines to include automated underwriting.
  • Proficient mathematical skills, with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex tax returns, including corporate, partnerships and sub-s corporations.
  • Effective leadership and negotiation skills with ability to adapt to change within working responsibilities, be it internal, market, or regulatory driven.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
  • Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
  • Must live local to Tampa Bay.

Responsibilities

  • The Commercial Loan Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing commercial loan origination, leading a team of Commercial Loan Officers, and representing Grow Financial within the community.
  • Accountable for achieving commercial real estate lending, deposit, and ancillary product goals.
  • Provides operational, credit, and sales leadership, and oversees the origination, processing, and ongoing relationship management of commercial loans.
  • Maintains individual production goals while actively engaging in business development and community networking to drive growth for the Business Solutions team.
  • Collaborates with members, internal partners (including credit administration, operations, quality control, and compliance), and external vendors to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Works closely with the VP of Commercial Solutions to align with strategic priorities and accelerate growth of the commercial portfolio.
