As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager to support our commercial lending team and strengthen our credit and portfolio management functions. Position Summary The Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager supports Citizens Bank's Commercial Lenders by providing analytical, portfolio management, and credit support for commercial loan relationships. This role is designed to enhance credit quality, improve loan turnaround times, and strengthen ongoing portfolio monitoring-allowing Lenders to focus on building strong customer relationships and driving business development. This onsite role at our beautiful Headquarters Branch in Batesville, AR will give you access to our local lending team and customers creating a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Preferred experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, financial analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of commercial loan structures, credit policy, and banking regulations
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess financial performance and credit risk
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with both internal lending staff and customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced lending environment
  • Collaborative, service-oriented mindset aligned with Citizens Bank's People First culture

Responsibilities

  • Support Commercial Lenders with new loan originations and loan renewals for commercial relationships
  • Prepare clear, thorough credit memorandums and underwriting analyses to support consistent and sound lending decisions
  • Analyze borrower financial statements, cash flow, trends, and overall credit risk
  • Obtain, review, and verify borrower financial information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policy
  • Provide oversight support for construction and project loans, including inspections, documentation, and progress tracking
  • Coordinate closely with Underwriting, Credit Administration, Loan Operations, and external partners to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant loan documentation
  • Assist in monitoring portfolio performance and support adherence to loan policy, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
  • Develop proficiency in all aspects of Loan Vantage and related lending systems
