Requirements

  • Must have 3-5 years of banking experience
  • Must be comfortable asking questions and articulating potential problems to bank senior management and/or legal counsel
  • Resolves non-routine problems with specialized knowledge
  • Ability to apply comprehensive concepts within field
  • Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices
  • Advanced computer skills
  • High School Degree or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Closing experience preferred ideally in CRE & C&I Lending

Responsibilities

  • Obtains appropriate supporting documents including title work, flood and OFAC searches, insurance, organizational documents, real estate collateral documentation and various due diligence items to verify compliance with loan approval and bank closing procedures.
  • Reviews credit approval memorandum and attorney-prepared loan documents only for new and renewed loans to ensure compliance and adherence to the loan approval guidelines.
  • Manages the loan closing pipeline and communicates timelines with internal loan operations department, lenders, title companies, and attorneys throughout the loan process.
  • Coordinates the application of loan deposits and disbursement of loan proceeds to ensure funds are applied correctly and all costs and invoices as paid at loan closing
