About The Position

We represent some of the country’s most respected financial institutions in complex matters requiring precision, strategic insight, and a results-driven approach. With a culture rooted in integrity, professionalism, and innovation, we continue to expand our federal litigation practice and are seeking an experienced attorney to join our growing team. POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for a skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial litigation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adept at motion practice, and comfortable managing a busy caseload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role offers the opportunity to litigate sophisticated matters, collaborate with a team of seasoned professionals, and contribute to a practice that values excellence and long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in creditors’ rights or financial services litigation is a plus
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence

Nice To Haves

  • Admission to multiple federal courts
  • Background in banking, consumer finance, or regulatory compliance
  • Experience coordinating multi-state litigation

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial litigation caseload, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
  • Represent clients in court — including hearings, conferences, and trials
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with client goals
  • Advise institutional clients on case risks, resolutions, and regulatory considerations
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, local, and judge-specific rules
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple jurisdictions to ensure consistency and high-quality client representation
