You will be entrusted with a diverse and challenging caseload, taking on significant responsibilities from the start.

  • Handle all aspects of commercial litigation, including foreclosures, case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial disputes.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Advise clients on risk assessment and litigation strategies.
  • Assist with negotiating and drafting agreements to resolve distressed loan products.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on a wide variety of commercial matters, including real estate, auto, and specialty finance, when applicable.
  • Must be admitted to the Louisiana and in good standing.
  • The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with additional experience in consumer financial services litigation and/or commercial litigation considered a plus.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience with commercial loan products and loan servicing is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
