About The Position

The Commercial Lines Sr. Account Representative will assist the Sales Executive and Account Manager in servicing and retaining Commercial clients while gaining exposure to Account Management job activities. This role involves providing internal assistance to 2-4 Commercial Lines Account Managers, processing client policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements, and auditing insurance policy documents to correct inaccuracies. The representative will also produce schedules and summaries of insurance, issue renewal and new certificates of insurance, maintain accurate information in agency management systems, and complete accounting-related transactions including complex and multi-client invoicing. Additionally, the role includes gathering renewal information and assembling applications and schedules for the Account Management team, assisting in delivering client service, and meeting client retention goals.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in a Commercial Lines agency.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Early intermediate understanding of Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Must hold or be willing to earn Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of Sagitta / ImageRight preferred, but not required.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Resourceful, eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
  • Open to feedback and coaching.

Responsibilities
