About The Position

As a Sales Consultant at Henderson Brothers, you will focus on achieving new business revenue goals through a consultative sales process. Your typical day will involve managing a book of business with a total revenue exceeding $500,000, conducting client renewals, and providing insurance program coverage recommendations. You will also be responsible for generating leads through various methods, including prospect research and networking, and expanding your knowledge of Property & Casualty plans through continuing education.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful Property & Casualty insurance sales experience required
  • Property & Casualty agency license required prior to hire
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance principles and practices
  • Excellent professional communication skills such as listening, speaking, and writing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere
  • Proficient in office technology, such as Microsoft Office products

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
