About The Position

Responsibilities: Provide proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating client needs and responding to client questions and issues in a timely manner Support sales efforts by managing assigned new business submissions and accounts as effectively as possible Management Liaison between existing Commercial Lines Staff and Agency Principal Communicate clients' needs and binding instructions to carriers Implement and maintain a quality service plan ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, certificates, and other relevant documents Review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages, and recommend appropriate products and services on an annual basis Coordinate and review Commercial Lines renewal business Audit CSA files for accuracy Assist and manage CSA workflow Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and complies with all internal policies and procedures Utilize the agency management system in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all pertinent account information Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients Make necessary contacts both inside and outside of the organization in order to obtain client requested information Requirements: 2+ years of previous experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer or Customer Service Representative for Personal Lines A thorough understanding of all insurance company policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their costs and benefits Strong aptitude for computer programs including Microsoft Office required; Agency Management System (AMS 360) experience preferred Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are a must Proficiency with agency management systems, preferably AMS 360 State of OH Producer's License for Property & Casualty

Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer or Customer Service Representative for Personal Lines
  • A thorough understanding of all insurance company policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their costs and benefits
