About The Position

Seeking a dynamic Commercial Insurance Department Manager to join our client's team and drive the growth of the department. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for overseeing the CL Account Management Department, managing a team of 15-20 employees.

Requirements

• 10+ years of proven experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines
• Active P&C (Property & Casualty) license in good standing
• Proficiency in EPIC software and other relevant industry tools - required
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proven track record of effectively managing a large book of business
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Lines Department
• Lead and manage a team of 15-20 employees, including training, performance evaluations, and team development
• Service a book in premium, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction
• Handle new and renewal business quoting, including negotiating terms and conditions
• Develop and implement strategies to grow and retain business, meeting and exceeding revenue targets
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including carriers, clients, and underwriters
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives
