Responsibilities

  • Ensure the submission of claims to carriers, whether through direct channels or intermediary means.
  • Engage in requisite communication with the insured parties to verify the successful reporting of a claim.
  • Manages and maintains the information on losses from insureds, claimants, producers, Insurer portals, etc.
  • Conducts needs analysis on commercial lines policies / confirms active policies
  • Provide insureds with carrier contact information for direct reporting
  • Lead all communication as necessary with the insured to confirm the reporting of a claim.
  • Develop and manage all internal files in the Agency operating system, while making an ACORD report form to submit to the pertinent Insurance Company.
  • Maintain claims files through activities in a proper timeline until full resolve of a claim.
  • Conduct regular and meticulous surveillance of all claims.
  • Ensure diligent follow-up with adjusters and relevant parties as required to maintain the highest standard of claim management.
  • Partner with the producer and client to ascertain their interest in obtaining a claim review summary.
  • Advise on various methods for claim communication while establishing and managing a clear timeline for report delivery.
  • Collaborate with insured parties, producers, or loss control to offer program options like light duty and return-to-work initiatives.
  • Assist in tailoring and executing these programs to align with their requirements for a comprehensive decrease in loss expenses.
  • Facilitates and manages the exchange of claims-related information between clients and carriers.
  • Ensure the precision of loss runs through thorough review.
  • When needed, furnish the marketing team with a comprehensive summary of claims.
  • Manage the communication between producer and the insured promptly of any adjustments to reserves that exceed $10,000 or any other threshold specified by the producer.
  • Manages the insurance company contact information booklet is meticulously updated to ensure all details are current and easily accessible.
  • Fosters client rapport by engaging in anticipatory dialogue.
  • Effectively and efficiently executes with strict adherence to and in accordance with the established corporate guidelines and protocols
