About the position

HUB's Customer Service professionals provide critical support to our customers through account management, claims management, day-to-day client oversight, and underwriting services that make us a leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. Through a robust network of resources, you will be amongst some of the industry's top talent to help guide and support our customer's needs and provide them with innovative solutions. The Commercial Lines Associate Account Manager provides administrative and clerical support to the Commercial Channel through assisting the team in providing quality customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Process lost policy release forms
  • Prepare Summaries of Insurance
  • Process endorsement requests and secure pricing from carrier if needed
  • Manage account documentation including ERM 14 forms; send documentation to insure and follow up to ensure it was received and submitted to the carrier
  • Maintain follow-up system with insurance carriers to ensure requests are processed timely
  • Furnish underwriters with additional information as requested
  • Enter Client information and policy detail into broker management system
  • Check policies for accuracy of information in comparison with the Insurance quote and Broker Management System
  • Request, process, and document Audits and Endorsement requests
  • Assemble/process renewal documents
  • Complete renewal kits and marketing exhibits
  • Pursue a program for personal and professional development
  • Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by management

Requirements

  • 1-2 years insurance experience
  • Illinois property/casualty license appropriate to the position or be willing to sit for exam within 60 days of hire date
  • Well organized with an aptitude for details
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Understand and analyze insurance coverages, forms, and policies
  • Work normally scheduled hours and additional time as needed
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required and EPIC preferred
