About The Position

The Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager is responsible for supporting the servicing staff with their assigned book of business, which includes client interaction and collaboration with company underwriters. This in-office role is located in Rio Vista, CA, and operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and delegate
• Follow instructions and tasks through to completion in a timely manner
• Advanced knowledge of insurance company's guidelines and underwriting
• Computer proficient and knowledgeable with Microsoft Office
• Current California Property & Casualty Insurance License or willing to obtain one within 1 year
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist servicing staff in building and maintaining client relations
• Process policy changes and cancellations
• Assist in client renewals; remarketing, prepare renewal summaries, issuing proofs as assigned
• Process billing transactions for agency bill policies
• Review proof of insurance requests and communicate policy changes to servicing staff
• Thoroughly document accounts using the agency's management systems
• Follow agency's workflows & standards
• Continue growth of insurance knowledge and stay informed of changes in the insurance industry
• Assist in training of other employees
• Backup other employees as assigned
• Special projects and other duties as assigned
