Taylor Agency is seeking an experienced professional to join our Commercial Lines team for the role of Account Manager. This position is ideal for a service-oriented individual who is interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and providing an outstanding customer experience. Each Account Manager will be responsible for servicing an existing book of commercial business, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service and support. The role requires the ability to work well in a team environment and a keen attention to detail. In this position, the Account Manager will collaborate with sales producers and a marketing team to renew existing accounts, ensuring that all client needs are met effectively. The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the insurance field and must hold a valid South Carolina Property and Casualty insurance license. The position is based in our James Island office, where staff work from home one day a week and in the office for the remaining four days. The Account Manager will be expected to process customer policy change requests, secure all trailing documents from customers, and complete evidence of insurance requests. Additionally, the role involves answering incoming phone calls promptly, returning all phone messages in a timely manner, and maintaining a thorough understanding of underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements. The candidate will also need to stay updated on new products, generate insurance quotes, and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
