SWBC is seeking a talented individual to provide exceptional customer service for the Commercial lines of insurance in evaluating, classifying, and quoting policies by working with various insurance carriers and/or brokers. Essential duties include the following: Provides information, rates, and quotes for all new and renewal Commercial lines policies by evaluating, processing, and placing coverage based on the degree of risk indicated on the applications and within the underwriting guidelines provided by various carriers and/or brokers. Reviews renewal requests and endorsements for accuracy and adherence to underwriting guidelines for various carriers and/or brokers in preparing policies, endorsements, binders and certificates. Assists insurance carrier underwriters and/or brokers with policies involving unique, complex, or high-risk commercial properties. Maintains complete, accurate, and thorough files on every customer account by processing daily mail and telephone requests for assigned accounts to include entering and scanning all required account data into the system. Assists Producers and provides training to other Account Managers as requested. Maintains a level of up-to-date knowledge on the rating system, forms and coverage changes. Processes claims including reporting and monitoring. Performs other duties as required.
