About The Position

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will manage an assigned book, supporting a diverse portfolio of mid-size accounts with a few larger commercial clients. The focus is on servicing, renewals, and new business growth, while administrative support (certificates, ID cards, etc.) is handled by a dedicated team member. This role offers a blend of independence and collaboration—ideal for someone who enjoys being trusted to manage their work while contributing to a small, hardworking team.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty License (required)
  • 3–5 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience
  • Strong understanding of generalist CL coverages: Property, General Liability, Workers Compensation, etc.
  • Proficiency with AMS360
  • Intelligent, coachable, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned Commercial Lines book (~$3M in premium)
  • Service and renew existing accounts; handle endorsements, policy changes, and coverage reviews
  • Quote new business opportunities
  • Work closely with Producers and internal teams to retain and grow client relationships
  • Communicate with carriers regarding renewals, coverage changes, and placement options
  • Utilize AMS360 for all policy management and documentation
