About The Position

Established agency seeking to hire a Commercial Insurance Account Executive.

Requirements

• 5-7+ Years working with small-middle market accounts in agency environment required
• Ability to meet/w clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies
• Must be organized
• Ability to delegate workflow
• Ability to multi task
• Must have lines of coverage experience: Management Liability lines – Cyber, D&O, E&O, EPLI, NYS Labor Law etc.
• Experience with Construction, Contractors, Real Estate, Start Ups, etc.
• Experienced with Applied Epic Required

Responsibilities

• Full Knowledge of insurance products and usages
• Ability to advise and consult with clients re: their insurance coverages
• Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
• Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines
• Service and monitor account activity.
• Call existing insured to compliment or “round out” personal accounts.
• Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client’s business.
• Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Commercial Lines.
• Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations.
• Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing.
• Complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries and reviews.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers and vendors.
• Responsible for marketing process & quoting new and renewal business
