About The Position

The Leavitt Group's affiliate in Twin Falls, ID, Starley Leavitt Insurance is looking for a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their busy team. As a commercial lines processor, you will work with our team to process insurance policies and will need strong computer skills, with prior customer service skills.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty license, or willing to get licensed in 90 days
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with computer software
  • Must have ability to work independently in a multi-tasking customer service setting.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to proofread the work of self or others with a high degree of accuracy
  • Prefer at least a high school education or equivalent continuing education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Commercial Lines preferred
  • Familiarity with AMS360 is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, companies, and brokers.
  • Work with Producer to coordinate new business, renewal strategy, and company selection.
  • Prepare Insurance proposals, summaries, and related documents.
  • Order and issue binders, policies, endorsements, certificates, invoices and other related items and forward to client with appropriate correspondence.
  • Accompany Producer as needed to client meetings.
  • Manage daily inbound/outbound correspondence: mail, email, faxes, phone calls, and voicemails.
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance coverages and exposures, as well as the insurance products and markets available to cover exposures.
  • Complete projects as required by supervisor.
  • Energetically focus efforts on meeting goals and objectives.
