About The Position

Commercial Lines Account Manager Job Summary Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing and servicing a book of middle-market commercial accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of multi-line commercial insurance contracts and coverages, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client service. Compensation Package Salary : $70,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience) Benefits : Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) Work Environment : Hybrid (after 90 days)

Requirements

  • College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Property & Casualty Agent’s License required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of insurance experience, with at least 5 years preferred.
  • Strong understanding of multi-line commercial insurance contracts and coverages.
  • Proficiency in AMS360 or similar agency management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a book of business averaging $800,000 to $1,000,000 in annual revenue.
  • Retain assigned accounts in collaboration with Producers and Account Executives.
  • Conduct annual reviews of client coverages to identify potential gaps and recommend needed coverages.
  • Negotiate renewal pricing and coverage, and remarket coverage as needed.
  • Prepare proposals and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Input and maintain accurate client policy information in the agency management system (AMS).
  • Coordinate with the Certificate Department for issuance and review of Certificates of Insurance.
  • Assist in preparation and presentation of claim reviews as required by the Client Service Plan.
  • Respond to client service needs promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and other departments.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
