Job Description The Commercial Lines Account Manager plays a critical role in managing and retaining a diverse portfolio of business clients. This position serves as the primary service contact for commercial accounts, ensuring accurate policy administration, seamless renewals, responsive support, and exceptional client experiences.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Comfortable on a Computer. Must be able to learn multiple programs and applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to study for, take and pass Insurance Property and Casualty test (we will train you on this)
  • Available to work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients
  • Conduct proactive renewal outreach prior to insurance expiration
  • Advise clients on coverage options, billing and risk exposures
  • Identify gaps in coverage that are needed based on client needs
  • Manage the Renewal Lifecycle
  • Document interactions with clients and Underwriters
  • Work with the service staff to meet timeline
  • Work with Account Executive on marketing selected markets
  • Follow up with Markets for quotations.
  • Review and update proposal under the direction of Account Executive
  • Check for any discrepancy’s in submissions, proposals or other presentations
  • Work with Account Executive to provide final documentation for customers
  • Obtain information and produce Certificate issuance for customers
  • Check policies with submission/quotation/proposal
  • Invoice and follow up on billing
