About The Position

BayCoast Insurance LLC is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager who knows commercial insurance is about more than policies – it’s about people, partnerships, and precision. You’ll manage a dedicated book of commercial business, collaborate closely with producers and carriers, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients-helping them protect what they’ve worked hard to build.

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills (you can explain coverage without putting people to sleep)
Solid understanding of commercial insurance coverages, rating, and underwriting
Ability to juggle multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy or service
Experience with agency management systems (Applied Epic strongly preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail
Massachusetts Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain prior to highering)

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus

Responsibilities

Manage and service an assigned book of commercial accounts with a focus on accuracy, retention, and growth
Prepare and process new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, certificates, and cancellations
Proactively communicate with clients to anticipate needs and deliver personalized service
Partner with producers, underwriters, and carrier reps to ensure optional coverage and pricing
Conduct regular account reviews, identifying coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities
Handle billing questions, claims, inquiries, and policy changes with confidence and professionalism
Maintain clear, detailed documentation in the Agency Management System (Applied Epic)
Stay current on carrier guidelines, coverage trends, and industry changes
Support team initiatives and departmental goals as needed
