About The Position

Provence Financial & Insurance Services is an Acrisure Agency Partner. We are a client focused, growth-oriented, Remote, Insurance Agency with 5 branch "locations" throughout CA & NV. Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an energetic, driven and disciplined individual to join our Commercial Lines team. This is a remote position available to anyone licensed to produce and service insurance in the US. This role will give you the opportunity to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. You will work to develop, manage, and expand relationships with current clients and pursue new business opportunities with prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship building skills, is self-motivated, and highly competitive. We offer a “best of both worlds” opportunity for experienced insurance professionals. Requirements

  • 2 +years’ experience in Commercial Lines, hold a P&C license in CA (NV, AZ non-resident a plus)
  • Understanding of commercial insurance underwriting, coverage & rate analysis
  • Knowledge of insurance coverages and an ability to communicate this clearly to clients and underwriters
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage workload
  • Computer literate with experience using Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude, and willingness to help others
  • Able to work under pressure and time constraints
  • Good attendance & reliability

Responsibilities

  • Sell new business, retain accounts and cross sell to deepen relationships and insulate our clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Provide consistent, accurate, and timely communication to clients through, verbal and written correspondence.
  • Conduct face to face meetings with the clients as necessary
  • Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures, document electronic files accordingly
  • Respond to clients’ needs by producing binders, certificates, policies and other related items
  • Maintain client files in Agency Management System environment for processing all transactions
  • Process daily incoming mail, email, file suspense items, and calls
  • Know the underwriting and rating procedure for all types of Commercial Lines policies
  • Quote, sell, and retain Commercial Lines policies whether it be for a house account or Producer written account.
  • Provide technical support to Producers (coverage-wise, with proposal, suspense, items etc.) to help clients
  • Prepare applications, proposals, etc... and submit them to insureds and carriers, obtain clients’ signatures on all applications, and follow up to ensure timely responses
  • Renew policies by agency standards
  • Maintain client files accurately and consistently documenting conversations, sending confirmations to clients,
  • Adhere to all other automation procedures
  • Handle cancellations with care, saving all accounts possible with adherence to E&O guidelines
