About The Position

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support and grow an existing book of business while delivering exceptional client service. This role focuses on managing policy lifecycles, strengthening client relationships, and identifying opportunities for coverage enhancements. The ideal candidate is client-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied EPIC), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to assess client needs and develop solutions.
  • High level of professionalism with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with commercial lines insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial lines clients, ensuring responsive and professional service.
  • Manage the full policy lifecycle, including quoting, binding, renewals, endorsements, and account updates.
  • Evaluate client risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions aligned with underwriting guidelines.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to address needs, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Review renewal and expiration reports to develop and execute account strategies in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Prepare quotes and write new business for inbound inquiries and existing client opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate client and policy documentation within the agency management system (EPIC) and CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with Producers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
