We are currently seeking an Account Manager II to join our Regional Floating Team within the Commercial Insurance division. In this dynamic role, the Account Manager II will provide coverage for books of business when employees are on leave and offer additional support to various teams during peak seasons. This position will work with more complex or specialized books of insurance business and deliver professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues. The Account Manager II may work independently, as part of a team, or alongside a Producer to provide client advocacy, ensure client retention, and write new client accounts or lines of coverage as needed.

  • Service day to day client needs including, fielding phone calls, email, and other communication relative to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
  • Manage the execution of all aspects of client renewal process including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation of renewal numbers to the Producer and the client (where applicable) and invoicing
  • Review quote documents to ensure all insurance requirements are included in quote proposal
  • Manage client relationship ensuring satisfaction
  • Manage and delegate work as needed to Associate Account Managers I and II to ensure their progress and workload is appropriate
  • Manage/Maintain relationships with underwriters to ensure positive results for clients, and negotiate coverage with underwriters
  • Ensure the completion and accuracy of proposals, binding of coverage, review of policies for accuracy and creation of client policy summaries and binders
  • Responsible to set up and maintain electronic records
  • Use best practices and internal broker standards for service and maintenance of client files and information
  • Training and collaboration with team members to share and educate on coverage, exposures and client knowledge
  • At least 5 years insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role preferred
  • Experience with large construction accounts preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with EPIC
