Our client is seeking a well-rounded Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing independent agency based in Hopewell Junction, NY. This is a hybrid role supporting a diverse book of business across multiple industries, including retail, restaurants, construction, and contractors. The ideal candidate is a true generalist who is comfortable handling a variety of accounts and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Requirements

5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience
Experience working with a variety of industries (retail, hospitality, construction, contractors, etc.)
Proficiency in AMS 360
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policy structures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Active P&C license required

Responsibilities

Manage and service a generalist commercial lines book of business across multiple industries
Handle day-to-day account servicing including endorsements, certificates, billing inquiries, and policy changes
Prepare and process renewals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Market new and renewal business to carriers to obtain competitive coverage options
Review policies and provide coverage recommendations based on client exposures
Work closely with producers to support new business and maintain strong client relationships
Respond to client inquiries promptly and provide high-level customer service
Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information in AMS 360
