Join our team as a Commercial Lending Relationship Manager I, where you will play a key role in driving business growth by selling loans and a wide range of financial products to commercial clients. In this exciting, client-facing position, you will be out in the field, actively engaging with businesses in your community and identifying opportunities to meet their financial needs. Requirements

  • Education & Experience – You will need a bachelor's degree in a directly related field AND one 1-2 years of related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills – You should possess well-developed abilities and a proven track record in the following areas: Sales Experience Critical Thinking Strong Research Skills Strong Communication Active Listening Detail Oriented Analytical Portfolio Management Skills Basic Understanding of Credit

Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships with key influencers, managing loan delinquency, and spending 70% of time focused on sales and meeting goals.
  • Keeping financial information current, conducting regular account reviews, and maintaining an acceptable level of loan delinquency.
  • Collaborating with the Credit Department, applying loan policies, and advising borrowers on financial decisions while continuously improving credit analysis knowledge.
  • Following loan procedures and calculating total exposure within approved lending authority.
  • Reviewing loans that exceed authority with the team leader and highlighting potential risks before submitting them for committee approval.
