About The Position

8-week Internship program with Central Oklahoma Lending and Credit teams to observe and to review credit and financial reports to determine risks involved in loaning money or extending credit. The intern will work closely with Central Oklahoma lenders, portfolio managers, and management as they assist in monitoring the existing loan portfolio and help in efforts for new client development.

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex financial information and identify relevant risks.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Applicants must be based in the OKC metro area.
• Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
• 40 hours a week

Responsibilities

• Spreading and analysis of commercial financial statements for prospective and existing loan customers.
• Assist in performing financial analysis and underwriting of loan packages, which includes preparing charts and narrative related to analysis of sources & uses, capitalization, historical and projected financial statements, financial covenants, stress testing, and collateral valuation.
• Assist in diligence for prospective and existing customers related to business descriptions, industry analysis, market analysis, and other general credit risk factor analysis.
• Reviewing loan request presentation packages including loan structuring, collateral analysis, guarantor analysis, and calculation of Global Debt Service Coverage.
• Obtain and analyze appropriate diligence materials for the evaluation of collateral value.
• Rotations through various departments as available.
• Shadowing opportunities as assigned.
• Final summer project based around a loan presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
